170g fresh breadcrumbs

½ litre milk

½ teaspoon salt

170g grated cheddar cheese

3 eggs

Preheat oven to 190 C (375 F). Soak the breadcrumbs in milk for 5 minutes. Add the egg yolks, salt and cheese. Beat the egg whites and fold into the mixture. Pour the mixture into a greased pie dish and bake until set.

Serve hot.
